Sr. Implementation Consultant
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Implementation Consultant based in United States.
This newly created role combines pipeline integrity expertise, SaaS implementation, project management, and customer success.
You will oversee assigned clients throughout pilots, implementations, training, product adoption, and ongoing engagement.
The position is highly customer-facing, with approximately 80% of the work focused on external stakeholders and 20% on internal collaboration.
You will configure solutions, load and analyze data, execute models, present results, and help customers turn insights into business outcomes.
The role also provides opportunities to influence product development through customer feedback, enhancement requests, and market insights.
Success requires strong technical knowledge of pipeline integrity, excellent relationship management, and the ability to manage complex client requirements.
Travel across North America and internationally may be required to support customers and implementation activities.
Accountabilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of pipeline asset integrity software and use that knowledge to implement, configure, and train new users.
- Manage assigned implementation projects, including deliverables, success KPIs, timelines, and project budgets.
- Guide new and existing customers in identifying threats to pipeline assets using software-generated insights.
- Coach customers on how to apply technology and integrity management practices to achieve business objectives.
- Identify additional opportunities to use software capabilities for regulatory data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Evaluate enhancement requests, assess their business value, and help prioritize them for potential product adoption.
- Provide customers with guidance and mentorship on pipeline integrity management best practices.
- Perform application configurations, data loading, model execution, and analysis of pipeline integrity results.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommended actions.
- Manage requirements and priorities across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with assigned customers.
- Drive customer success by increasing product adoption, engagement, and opportunities for account expansion.
- Identify ways to improve customer-facing processes and policies through automation, self-service, and greater customer empowerment.
- Serve as a key communication channel for business opportunities, customer needs, and development requirements.
- Partner with product management teams to communicate customer requirements, enhancement requests, and market feedback.
- Support product development sprints by contributing customer insights and practical use cases.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders across large client organizations.
- Provide regular updates to customers and internal management on project progress, customer health, opportunities, and challenges.
- Help ensure customers are successfully using the full breadth of available application capabilities to advance their business objectives.
- 5+ years of experience in the midstream or transmission pipeline industry.
- Deep knowledge of Z662, ASME standards, and other relevant pipeline industry guidance.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing different types of pipeline integrity assessment data.
- Experience working with pipeline integrity software and related technology is preferred.
- Experience working with multiple organizational levels within Fortune 100 companies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pipeline integrity management principles and industry best practices.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to establish credibility with technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities, including the ability to manage multiple client requirements and priorities.
- Experience with solution development processes and application support lifecycles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to translate technical information and analytical results into practical business recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in customer-facing and executive environments.
- Highly organized and structured, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across customer organizations and internal product, development, and management teams.
- Ability to evaluate customer needs, identify opportunities, and communicate actionable feedback to product teams.
- Ability to travel throughout North America and internationally when required.
- Comfortable working independently while maintaining accountability for client outcomes, project deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance technical problem solving, business objectives, and long-term relationship development.
- Base salary of CAD $140,000–$160,000, with the range reflecting base compensation only.
