(Sr.) IT Engineer(Linux Expert)

This role is responsible for enterprise internal Linux server operations, virtualization and storage platform administration, and the evaluation and implementation support of new infrastructure solutions.
This position belongs to the Enterprise IT System Administration function, with a focus on internal IT infrastructure stability, standardized operations, patch management, server and service monitoring, server lifecycle management, and the use and maintenance of automation scripts and IaC tools.
1. Linux Server Daily Operations

• Perform daily Linux server maintenance, health checks, system updates, and troubleshooting.
• Execute OS patching, package updates, repository configuration, and version control.
• Support the standardization of Linux server builds, baseline configurations, and operational procedures.

2. Proxmox VE Cluster / Ceph Storage Operations

• Support VM provisioning, resource adjustment, snapshot, backup, restore, and migration activities.
• Monitor Ceph storage health, OSD status, capacity utilization, and related alerts.
• Participate in Proxmox VE / Ceph platform tuning, optimization, and improvement activities.

3. New Infrastructure Solution Evaluation and Implementation Support

• Assist in evaluating and testing internal infrastructure solutions, such as enterprise-level storage solutions and internal Linux patch servers.
• Build PoC environments to validate functionality, limitations, operational requirements, and implementation feasibility.
• Prepare survey reports, test results, risk assessments, and implementation recommendations.
• Help convert new solutions into standardized processes that can be maintained in long-term operations.

4. Server Management / Infrastructure Operations

• Assist in managing Linux / Windows server inventory and lifecycle information.
• Maintain server information such as owner, purpose, OS version, patch status, backup status, and monitoring status.
• Ensure servers are properly onboarded to monitoring, backup, security agent, and patch management platforms.

5. Basic Windows / Enterprise IT Operations Support

• Support basic AD account, group, permission, and access issue handling.
• Support basic Windows Server operations and troubleshooting.
• Assist with ISO / SOX / audit-related activities.
