Sr. IT MES Manager

Salary: 100-140k THB

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the enterprise rollout of Camstar MES as we replace our legacy manufacturing execution system. This is a high-impact technical and functional leadership role that will shape our manufacturing systems strategy, drive digital transformation, and deliver measurable improvements in productivity, traceability, quality, and operational efficiency.

You will own the Camstar MES roadmap, architecture, governance, and multi-site standardisation, while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT. The role covers both the end-to-end implementation programme and the ongoing performance, resilience, and evolution of critical manufacturing systems.

What You Will Do

• Define and execute the enterprise MES and manufacturing integration strategy aligned with business transformation priorities.
• Lead the full Camstar MES implementation to replace the legacy system, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, vendor management, and executive reporting.
• Architect and deliver integrations between MES and SAP ERP, PLM, equipment/factory automation, manufacturing data platforms, reporting, and analytics.
• Establish clear standards for manufacturing systems architecture, APIs, middleware, connectivity, security, and integration.
• Ensure the MES effectively supports production execution, WIP, lot tracking, resource and quality management, genealogy, traceability, non-conformance, dispatching, and real-time operational visibility.
• Modernise legacy manufacturing applications, and move toward scalable, maintainable, and cloud-enabled architectures.
• Drive manufacturing digitalisation, Industry 4.0 adoption, process optimisation, and automation.
• Maintain high availability, performance, and resilience of MES and related systems, and oversee incident, problem, change, and release management, as well as continuous improvement.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships, and lead both internal teams and external partners while developing a high-performing manufacturing systems organisation.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, audit, ITGC, validation, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing IT, MES, systems integration, or factory automation, including at least 5 years in technical leadership.
• 5+ years of hands-on Camstar MES implementation, configuration, integration, and production support.
• Proven success leading end-to-end MES implementations, upgrades, migrations, harmonisation, or multi-site rollouts.
• Strong experience managing technical teams, application portfolios, vendors, and complex manufacturing programmes.
• Deep expertise in Camstar MES architecture and core manufacturing processes (production execution, WIP, lot tracking, resource and quality management, genealogy, traceability, non-conformance, dispatching, and reporting).
• Solid experience integrating MES with SAP ERP, PLM, equipment automation, and other factory systems.
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture, SDLC, SQL, APIs, middleware, enterprise integration, security, and support practices.
• Preferred: Semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing experience; knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, DevOps, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, IoT, AI, and advanced analytics; relevant professional certifications.
