Sr. IT Specialist

We are seeking for a Sr. IT Specialist who is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and technical support operations. This role provides advanced technical support, troubleshoots complex IT issues, implements technology solutions, and ensures the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the IT team during plant visits and addressing technical challenges effectively

• Update and maintain IT asset inventory, keeping it up-to-date and secure

• Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and train new IT staff

• Provide escalated support to company staff and troubleshoot complex computer problems

• POC in installation, configuration and update in company software and hardware as needed

• Perform other related duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the IT department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field

• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team

• Can work closely with less supervision, exhibiting a high level of initiative and responsibility

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Efficient troubleshooting and keen attention to detail
