Sr Java/ Web-tier developer (need strong technical resource & someone who can start within 1-2 weeks)

Location: Columbus OH, Positions: 2, Duration - 6 months+

BS degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science or Mathematics

5+ years Java/J2EE development work experience (required)

2+ years experience (in each of the technologies and not combined) with Spring,Struts, Hiberante, XML and web services technologies (required)

Experience with iBatis/Hibernate, JDBC/SQL, JPA (required)

Experience with source control systems (SVN) (required)

1) Framework design & development, Socket programming, Knowledge of IP protocols, Google Web Toolkit

2) Develop reusable infrastructure components

3) Develop UI widgets that run across all browsers/display devices

Soft skills needed :

Candidate should have a flair to work across technologies, if needed.
Candidate should demonstrate depth and breadth across technologies.
He/She should be passionate about technology and should be showing keen interest in the modern developments in technology.
Should be able to visualize the big picture. Might need to perform PoCs or solutions.
Strong in communication - ask questions, articulate clearly in technical meetings, push back/review technical solutions being presented,
