Sr. Machine Designer
- Providing technical information and design direction.
- Serving as the day-to-day technical contact for the outside designer.
- Reviewing/tracking models, drawings, and bills of materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge of custom automation equipment, manufacturing, tooling, pneumatics, linear motion, machine guarding, and production environments.
- Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, operating procedures, design requirements, technical diagrams, and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings, dimensioning practices, and GD&T.
- Ability to review the technical quality and completeness of work produced by outside design partners.
- Ability to prepare clear technical reports and correspondence.
- Proficiency in 3D mechanical modeling, preferably SolidWorks or Catia.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Collaborative, creative, and fast-paced office environment.
- Onsite position located near our machine-build and fabrication areas.
