Position Overview
The Sr. Manager, Advanced Grid Solutions, leads a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on developing system-level solutions for AI Data Center (AIDC) and Solid-State Transformer (SST) applications. This role is responsible for advancing new technologies from concept to deployment, developing engineering talent, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. The position reports to the Director of Project and Systems Engineering.

• Develop innovative system-level solutions for AIDC and SST applications.
• Build and retain a high-performing engineering team.
• Support business growth through technical leadership, customer engagement, and differentiated solutions.
• Successfully execute first-of-kind deployments and technology initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers focused on advanced power system solutions.
• Develop system architectures and technical solutions for AIDC and SST applications.
• Collaborate with customers, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Lead modeling, simulation, and validation efforts to support solution development.
• Provide technical leadership during initial deployments and key customer projects.
• Manage external consultants and contractors as needed to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in systems engineering, power conversion, data centers, energy storage, or related technologies.
• 4+ years leading multifunctional technical teams.
• Strong systems thinking and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and system validation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
