Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Organizational Change Management is responsible for leading the organization's enterprise-wide change management strategy, governance framework, and transformation initiatives. This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and partners across the enterprise to ensure successful adoption of strategic business priorities, organizational transformations, cultural initiatives, and technology implementations.

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Organizational Change Management establishes organizational change management standards, methodologies, and best practices to enhance organizational readiness, accelerate adoption, and maximize business outcomes. This position provides strategic leadership for complex, cross-functional initiatives impacting multiple business units and plays a critical role in building enterprise change capability, organizational agility, and long-term transformation success.

Primary Duties

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the enterprise organizational change management strategy aligned with organizational or business objectives.
  • Establish and oversee enterprise-wide change management governance, methodologies, frameworks, standards, and tools.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for organizational change management, transformation strategy, and adoption effectiveness.
  • Partner with executive leadership to assess organizational readiness and develop strategies that enable successful execution of strategic priorities.
  • Lead change strategy for large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives, including technology implementations, process improvements, organizational redesigns, mergers, acquisitions, and cultural transformation efforts.

Enterprise Transformation Management

  • Provide strategic oversight of a portfolio of enterprise change initiatives to ensure alignment, consistency, and effective execution.
  • Identify and mitigate organizational change risks, stakeholder concerns, and change saturation impacts across the enterprise.
  • Develop enterprise stakeholder engagement strategies that drive alignment, commitment, and sustained adoption.
  • Integrate change management activities into business and transformation planning processes.
  • Ensure organizational change efforts support business objectives, culture, and long-term strategic goals.

Executive Consulting and Influence

  • Advise executive leaders on change-related risks, organizational impacts, readiness assessments, communications, and adoption strategies.
  • Influence decision-making through organizational diagnostics, change impact assessments, workforce insights, and adoption analytics.
  • Build strong partnerships with senior leaders across Human Resources, Operations, Information Technology, Finance, and other business functions.
  • Coach executives and senior leaders in their roles as visible and effective sponsors of change.

Organizational Capability Development

  • Develop enterprise change management capabilities through leader training, coaching programs, tools, and resources.
  • Promote a culture of adaptability, continuous improvement, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Establish communities of practice and change champion networks to strengthen enterprise change maturity.
  • Implement and maintain programs that increase leadership effectiveness during periods of change and transformation.

Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish enterprise adoption, readiness, engagement, and effectiveness metrics.
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting tools that measure organizational change outcomes and return on investment.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of change strategies and implement improvements based on data, feedback, and business results.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and organizational assessments to identify lessons learned and sustainability opportunities.

Leadership and Resource Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop organizational change management professionals and project resources.
  • Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, consulting engagements, and resource allocation.
  • Provide leadership and direction to internal teams and external partners supporting enterprise initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management certification preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in organizational change management, organizational effectiveness, transformation, or related disciplines. Minimum 5 years of experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives impacting multiple business functions. Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategic business decisions. Experience establishing organizational frameworks, governance models, and enterprise change methodologies. Previous people leadership experience preferred.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Ability to lead highly complex, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience developing enterprise-level metrics, dashboards, and adoption measurement strategies.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into actionable organizational change plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience leading organizational culture, leadership development, and workforce transformation initiatives.
  • Strong project portfolio management and prioritization skills.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • Occasional visits to manufacturing plants and warehouses with potential exposure to climate variations, dust, chemical fumes, noise, and forklift traffic.
  • Compliance with all applicable safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
