Sr. Manager/Manager, ME Project Management (PJM) (Server)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Management Leader to drive the successful execution of mechanical engineering programs for AI datacenter infrastructure, liquid cooling, rack, and enclosure products.
This role will lead and develop the Mechanical PJM team while directly managing strategic customer programs from concept through production. The successful candidate will serve as the primary interface between customers and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.
The position requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical product development, excellent customer communication skills, and proven leadership experience managing complex engineering programs. In addition to providing organizational leadership, this role will retain hands-on program ownership for key customer engagements, driving execution across engineering, operations, sourcing, and customer teams.

Key Responsibilities:
#Team Leadership & Organizational Development
•Lead, mentor, and develop Mechanical PJM team members.
•Establish project management best practices, governance, and reporting processes.
•Drive team capability growth, succession planning, and talent development.
•Support resource planning and workload balancing across multiple programs.
•Foster collaboration among Mechanical, Thermal, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and Operations teams.

#Program & Project Management
•Lead multiple concurrent engineering programs from concept through mass production.
•Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, risk registers, and action plans.
•Drive cross-functional execution to achieve committed deliverables.
•Monitor project scope, timeline, budget, and resource utilization.
•Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans proactively.
•Ensure compliance with company product development processes and customer requirements.

#Customer Management
•Serve as the primary customer-facing contact for assigned programs.
•Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, sourcing, operations, and program teams.
•Lead customer meetings, technical reviews, and executive status updates.
•Drive issue resolution and escalation management.
•Ensure timely and professional communication with customers.
Project Cost & Commercial Management
•Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and resource utilization.
•Support RFQ reviews, project cost estimation, schedule feasibility assessments, and resource planning activities.
•Monitor project spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets and project objectives.

#Mechanical Product Development
•Work closely with Mechanical Engineering teams through:
-Concept development
-Design reviews
-Prototype builds
-Testing and validation
-Manufacturing readiness
-Production ramp
•Ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to project commitments.
•Support design-for-manufacturing, design-for-assembly, and cost optimization activities.
•Drive engineering change management and configuration control processes.
Hands-On Program Ownership
•Directly manage high-priority or strategic customer programs.
•Take ownership of executive-level projects requiring intensive coordination and leadership.

• Act as escalation point for critical project challenges.

•Support on-site customer reviews, supplier visits, and manufacturing builds as required.
