Sr. Manager Operations (Distribution)
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Senior Manager Operations to support our Distribution team in Fort Wayne, IN. This person manages the daily operations of assigned area in the DC. Working with the DC Head, oversees overall operations to ensure customer service levels and commitments are achieved.

Schedule
- Primarily Day Shift with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
What You'll Need:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 5 years experience in a high volume distribution center supervising at least 25 or more employees
- 5 years experience with a Warehouse Management System
- 3 years warehouse experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
- 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
What You’ll Do:
- Manages staff selection & development, ensuring all associates are fully trained/cross trained on systems and procedures and providing educational opportunities with departmental activities.
- Oversees the management of day-day activities for assigned area of DC.
- Communicates departmental goals and objectives to attain company goals.
- Ensures customer service levels exceed IBC requirements, by ensuring direct reports are exceeding IBC’s standards for “excellent follow through and” service” to our clients.
- Maintains goals, objectives and job descriptions that keep the associate motivated and focused on attaining personal, departmental, and company goals.
- Reviews associates performance based on goals and objectives, measuring and reporting outcomes to management.
- Works with DC head and supervisors resolves departmental problems/issues.
- Collaborates with the DC Sr. Management in the planning, developing and launching of processes/plans for DC strategies.
- Reviews competitive information in order to stay current with industry trends and developments.
- Visits and talks with other companies to bring in new ideas on Distribution operations.
- Controls and manages budget costs of assigned departments/assigned areas.
- Works with management to improve CPU/CPL while providing outstanding customer service.
- Maintains a zero-error environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to walk and stand as needed
- Ability to grip/grasp as needed
- Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 60lbs as needed
- Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 70lbs force to push as needed
- Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently
- Ability to work a flexible which could include nights and weekends
- Ability to travel as needed
- Exposure to wide range of temperatures
Hiring Salary Range: $110,981 - $141,123k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
