Sr Manager - Reporting and Analytics

The Sr Manager for Reporting and Analytics will be responsible for leading and overseeing reporting, analytics, and workforce planning functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen relationships: Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations.
  • Impact the bottom line: Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations.
  • Improve the company: Make recommendations to enhance processes and boost ease and efficiency.
  • Define Sutherland’s reputation: Oversee and manage performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Empower the workforce: Determine training needs to equip staff with fundamental skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of performance, operational, and executive-level reports across Hyderabad and Clark sites.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms and dashboards.
    • Provide advanced analysis and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to develop customized reporting solutions and KPIs.
    • Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes to increase efficiency.
  • Workforce Organization
    • Lead workforce planning initiatives, including forecasting, staffing models, and capacity planning.
    • Partner with leadership to define workforce structures that align with business needs.
    • Analyze headcount, attrition, and productivity trends to recommend optimal staffing strategies.
    • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and organizational alignment to support operational delivery.
    • Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to ensure balance between demand and supply.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reporting analysts and workforce specialists.
    • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
    • Work closely with site and regional leadership to align reporting and workforce strategies with business goals.
    • Act as a liaison between operations, HR, finance, and technology teams to ensure integrated workforce planning.

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in reporting, analytics, and workforce management.
  • At least 2 years in a senior management or leadership role, preferably across multi-site or regional operations.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling reporting/analytics frameworks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong exposure to workforce organization, capacity planning, and operational alignment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Google Data Studio).
    • Strong understanding of workforce management platforms and practices.
    • Experience with automation tools and process optimization.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
