As the Senior Manager, Sourcing Transformation, you will be leading the Sourcing Transformation team responsible for Purchase Order management, operational governance, and supply chain execution. Drives strategic initiatives, transformation programs, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration to improve operational performance, service levels, and business outcomes. Provides leadership for critical business priorities, risk management, and capability development.

About The Role

As a Senior Manager, you will lead the Sourcing Transformation function, driving operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and business transformation across Purchase Order management and supply chain processes. This role oversees operational performance, governance, and service delivery while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to manage risks, resolve critical supply chain challenges, and enable scalable solutions. The position champions process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes. Additionally, the Senior Manager develops team capabilities, drives execution of key business priorities, and provides strategic leadership to support organizational goals.

What You'll Do

  • Leads Ordering and PO Management functions for Imports ensuring smooth business operations and meeting operational KPIs with desired service levels
  • Leads operations excellence through transformational initiatives including automation, standardization and optimization of processes leading to productivity improvements with enhanced service quality
  • Leads order management activities during critical supply chain events, provides clear visibility on risks and collaborates on action planning with cross functional teams
  • Lead weekly ordering – Creation of Purchase Orders for Replenishment and Non-replenishment orders. Analyze the demand and forecast data to identify any exceptions and outliers and call out to the respective stakeholders
  • Lead & Manage PO management activities such as PO revisions, tracking the PO status, call out exceptions and report the progress update to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, also manage surveys for Supply Chain Interruption events like factory shutdowns, vessel shortages, adverse weather, and other similar events.
  • Lead development and maintenance of the process SOP (Standard operating Procedures) and update the same in the regular intervals. Ensure SOP’s and Training documents are up to date
  • Proactively identify transformation, process improvement and automation opportunities, brainstorm solutions and engage with relevant teams and leadership to align on solutions and implementation
  • Leads the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

  • Develops, prioritizes, and executes key business strategies and communication platforms by managing cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes; developing merchandising programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content; making recommendations for system support developments; recommending merchandise priorities for store operations; providing insight to senior management and other business partners on key issues and opportunities to drive the business; and translating merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs for store operations.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Manages projects by building project plans; assigning projects and tasks to associates; scheduling projects; determining project scope; developing scorecards and metrics; developing short and long term plans; overseeing projects from start to completion; and completing projects in accordance with agreed upon timelines.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Manages the development of associates by providing training and support; monitoring associates growth; sharing key learning; providing feedback and coaching on performance; providing input on performance appraisals; selecting team members; and ensuring associates have the knowledge and skills necessary to advance.
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost- effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Merchandising, or related field and 4 years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area
  • 8+ years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area
  • Master’s degree in business management
  • 2 years’ experience managing large-scale projects.
  • 4 years’ supervisory experience.
