About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Operations for our Manawa, WI facility, a leading manufacturer of dry blend products. This role serves as the site's technical and engineering leader, responsible for driving the overall health and performance of plant systems while shaping the site's technical strategy. The Senior Manager, Technical Operations leads the capital planning process, oversees predictive and preventive reliability programs, and develops technical team capabilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations that support business objectives.
You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Lead the capital management process and 5-year site vision, driving capital efficiency, stewardship, and execution.
- Execute and support capital and non-capital enabled projects with local and corporate stakeholders.
- Drive capital efficiency by identifying alternative technical solutions and ways to reduce project implementation costs.
- Drive site efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve safety, maintenance costs, productivity, equipment life, operating efficiency, and operating costs.
- Promote and role model a Zero Loss and Zero Breakdown mindset.
- Create an environment that encourages technical problem-solving, reapplication of best practices, experimentation, and collaboration.
- Develop technical capabilities and new ways of working to drive site performance.
- Work closely with the site team to build and execute a master plan that enables improved performance.
- Work cross-functionally with site leadership, Capital Engineering, Reliability and Maintenance, Technical Services, Environmental Engineering, R&D, and IT to ensure alignment and meet company objectives.
- Maintain accountability for the Progressive Maintenance and Initiative Management Pillars at the site.

- This is a full-time, onsite role on first shift.
- The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $132,300.00 - 198,500.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay. organizational needs. You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required; advanced degree or formal project management training/certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience, including leading the Maintenance and Engineering department, is required.
- Experience with engineering and maintenance support programs such as AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP PM, or equivalent CMMS is required.
- Experience with processing, filling, packaging, utility systems, reliability systems, and reliability processes typically found in food manufacturing is required.
- Excellent capital management and project execution skills are required, including experience leading projects of approximately $3M-$5M and setting up a site investment strategy.
- Strong grounding in sanitary design principles, project chartering concepts, and processes that support successful project startups is required.
- Operational experience with TPM principles, including pillars, systems, and standard work, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
