Role Overview
The Marketing Manager (US) will be based in our US Headquarters in Scottsdale and will play key role in driving local awareness, engagement, visitation and revenue for our corporate owned/operated museums in the US. This role will partner and coordinate cross-functionally to drive effective local execution and optimization of marketing initiatives that amplify the brand and drive positive guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Operations, Brand, PR, Social, Digital, Revenue/Ticketing and Sales teams to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives with overall organizational goals.
- Campaign Deployment
- Work with corporate marketing on global marketing initiatives and ensure local execution aligns with brand priorities, including acting as primary liaison for location GMs to facilitate effective execution.
- Drive hyper-local activations, outside of global tentpole campaigns, including strategy, sell-in, business case development, creative briefing and post-campaign measurement. These promotions are linked to seasonality, school calendars, and major local events.
- Partnerships Field Marketing
- Build and manage partnerships with tourism boards, chambers, hotels, restaurants and attractions, including build out of turnkey, templated sales solutions for potential partners.
- Develop in collaboration with the PR and Marketing VPs, the opening and re-launch marketing initiatives inclusive of previews, member/VIP nights, community days and holiday activations.
- Evaluate and manage localized paid media placements (OOH, digital, radio, experiential) within budget, and develop required creative assets with the Brand team
- Brand, Content
- Support the planning and execution of on-location photo and video shoots for branded content.
- Brand Stewardship Work closely with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all partnership activations.
- As needed, facilitate effective management of on-premise communication channels.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on key KPIs: volume drivers (online and walk up), event results, revenue impact, and ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Marketing or similar degree.
- 5-7 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within entertainment, attractions, tourism, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of the local markets, culture, and media landscape.
- Experience working with global brands and localizing centrally developed strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, agencies, and vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for crafting effective marketing messages and interacting with the audience.
- Strong attention to detail in content creation, campaign execution, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proactive, organized, accountable, and self-starter personality.
Salary, Perks and Benefits
- Salary range $85,000-$105,000
