Job Description
RightNow Media is looking for a Sr. Marketing Specialist to join our Retention Marketing team in McKinney, TX. You'll be responsible for how we stay connected to the people already using RightNow Media, building the email campaigns and lifecycle journeys that help them find content worth watching and keep coming back to it. You'll also shape how our streaming libraries are organized, so the right content surfaces at the right moment. If you like turning audience data into a plan and then building that plan yourself, this role gives you both halves.

- Email & Lifecycle Strategy
- Partner with the Director of Retention Marketing to shape lifecycle strategy and own the execution end to end.
- Build campaigns and journeys that drive engagement, content consumption, adoption, and retention
- Turn the strategy into an actionable plan: audience, messaging, timing, cadence, CTAs, success metrics
- Maintain the email calendar and segmentation strategy
- Campaign & Content Coordination
- Stay on top of upcoming content, product initiatives, and marketing priorities
- Connect content opportunities to email and lifecycle campaigns
- Provide guidance and support to other Retention Marketing team members with the messaging, audience, and content context they need
- Analytics, Testing & Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance and turn data into recommendations
- Run tests across messaging, segmentation, timing, and cadence
- Build recurring reporting that shows the team what's working
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with content, design, product, growth, and customer success teams
- Be a champion for the communications strategy, sharing insights and communicating clearly to other stakeholders
- Bring a customer-first lens to marketing planning
Skills Required
- Strong project management and time management skills, with ability to keep track of multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and clearly communicate expectations and status updates
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization and across various cultures
- A proactive self-starter mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team
- Comfort pulling and interpreting data
- A positive, team player attitude with strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong copywriting and editing abilities with high level of attention to detail
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
