Senior Network & Security Engineer designs, implements, and troubleshoots enterprise networks and security for MSP clients using Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate, and Meraki SD-WAN.

QUALIFICATIONS
Seeking a highly skilled Senior Network & Security Engineer with strong experience in enterprise networking and security within an MSP environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures across multiple client environments. This role requires expertise in Cisco and Fortinet technologies, advanced routing, SD-WAN, firewall security, and data center networking.
The successful candidate must be comfortable managing multiple client environments, handling escalated technical issues, and participating in infrastructure projects while maintaining high service levels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure for multiple MSP clients.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
- Deploy and support Cisco Meraki SD-WAN solutions across distributed environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, MPLS, and advanced routing protocols.
- Manage MPLS VRF environments for secure network segmentation and connectivity.
- Configure and support Cisco Nexus switches, including Virtual Port Channel (vPC) technologies.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify capacity or security issues.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, firewall, and routing issues.
- Participate in infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and client onboarding projects.
- Respond to escalated incidents while meeting SLA requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Security Engineers, and client IT teams to deliver infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer within an MSP or enterprise environment.
- Strong experience supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise routing and switching.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco ASA Firewall.
- Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
- Fortinet FortiGate.
- Cisco Meraki SD-WAN.
- Cisco Nexus Switching.
- Nexus vPC.
- BGP.
- MPLS.
- MPLS VRF.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Experience configuring VPN technologies, including Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced MSP environment.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with enterprise data center networking.
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure and AWS).
- Experience supporting multi-site WAN environments.
- Knowledge of network automation or scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible).
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, or Cisco ACI.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
- Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
