Sr. Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning)
Summary
Oversee health-program data collection, analysis, and reporting for clinics, ensuring accuracy and donor compliance using tools like Microsoft Office.
- Collaborate with the Manager (MEL) in conducting regular analysis of program targets and achievements on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Assist the Manager in the development of Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks, contributing to the formulation and tracking of program indicators.
- Support the Manager in orienting and ensuring the effective utilization of digitalized reporting tools, particularly among field teams, fostering efficiency and accuracy in data reporting.
- Conduct Routine Data Quality Assurance (RDQA) visits to Sun GP clinics/CHS providers, collaborating closely with the BI unit and field operation teams to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with the Field Operation Team, QPI Team, and Program Management Team for programmatic changes, operational inputs, and MEL related modifications.
- Liaise with the Field Operations Team to compile data for donor reporting as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for National Programs and relevant authorities, collaborating with the Field Operations Team, Program Management Team, and BI unit to ensure correct and timely reporting.
- Actively participate in internal MEL related meetings and, if applicable, engage with other implementing partners to stay informed about industry’s best practices.
- Support the documentation of lessons learned, case studies, and best practices from program implementation.
- Assist in organizing learning and reflection sessions with field teams to capture insights for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of learning products such as summaries, briefs, and presentations for internal use.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams by coordinating inputs and feedback for MEL-related learning initiatives.

The key skills required for the position of Senior Officer (MEL) include:
Technical Knowledge:
• Must have moderate to high understanding of assigned health programs
• Must have excellent skill in using computer software (Microsoft Office tools) and data handling
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/ statistical methods
Communication:
• Must have good written/verbal English language skill
• Must be a good team player
• Must be organized, systematic, and dynamic and must interact well with others
Appraisal Considerations:
• Management of data compiling processes to produce national and donor reports
• In time analysis of data and feed the Field operation team
• Coordination between Field Operation teams and National Teams of Sun Community Health
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be M.B.,B.S degree holder
• Must have at least two-year experience in data analysis and coordination
• Must have good numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/ statistical methods
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
