Role Summary
The CI Specialist supports execution of improvement programs within GBS Finance by applying structured problem-solving and Lean/Six Sigma tools. The role focuses on delivering measurable improvements at process level and supporting transformation initiatives along with CI Lead.

Role-Level Expectations

  • Deliver assigned improvement initiatives within defined scope and timelines
  • Apply standard CI tools and methodologies effectively in project execution
  • Analyze data and generate insights to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with finance operations teams to implement improvements
  • Continuously build functional and CI capability

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed process mapping and data analysis to understand current-state performance
  • Support identify root causes of inefficiencies using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis
  • Support execution of Lean/Six Sigma projects, including DMAIC phases under supervision
  • Identify and quantify improvement opportunities related to productivity, quality, and cycle time
  • Support implementation of standardized processes and documentation of best practices
  • Track and report project performance metrics and benefits realization
  • Collaborate with GBS finance teams to drive adoption of process changes
  • Prepare analysis and presentations for project reviews and stakeholder updates
  • Support CI training sessions and capability-building initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to governance and project management standards

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or transformation roles
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred) with practical experience
  • Exposure to finance processes (P2P, FPA, R2R) is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
