- To supervise the color schemes while tuning the shades
- To monitor the various processes functioning in the paint shop
- To keep a record of all the approved samples
- To train and impart new methods in the sanding shop
- To recommend new techniques and new ideas
- To visit the sites if required to when requirement arises
- To look out for skilled artisans locally
- To take up all the instructions from the dept head
