Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Sr. PL/SQL Developer to join our team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end software development initiatives—including requirements analysis, data modeling, database design, and hands-on PL/SQL engineering—for critical national geographic data systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Systems Architecture & Design: Lead technical analysis, relational data modeling, and functional design across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Core Engineering: Design, develop, test, debug, and optimize complex interactive and batch database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
- Requirements Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional project teams, end users, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Author detailed test cases and execute unit, integration, and functional testing to maintain high software performance and data integrity.
- System Integration: Evaluate, integrate, and modernize software packages, APIs, and tools to support client objectives and system interoperability.
- Maintenance & Optimization: Troubleshoot software defects, resolve complex system performance bottlenecks, and implement continuous enhancement requests.
