Position Summary

The Senior Plumber serves as a senior technical resource and right-hand support to the Field Service Manager (FSM). This role is responsible for installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial plumbing systems and fixtures. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on plumbing experience, can work independently, and is proficient in traditional pipe sweating and modern press-fit systems using specialized tools such as ProPress, which allows connections without an open flame.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing fixtures and systems, including faucets, toilets, water heaters, and garbage disposals

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, replacements, and maintenance

• Sweat copper pipes and perform press-fit connections using ProPress or similar specialized tools

• Diagnose plumbing issues and identify effective, long-term repair solutions

• Support the Field Service Manager with technical needs, service coordination, and field operations

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service issues, repair options, and recommendations

• Accurately document service calls, labor hours, parts usage, and completed repairs

• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory as required

• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety procedures, and company standards

• Work occasional evening shifts as needed

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in commercial plumbing installation, service, and repair

• Hands-on experience with faucets, toilets, water heaters, and garbage disposals

• Proficiency in copper pipe sweating and press-fit plumbing systems, including ProPress tools

• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues and complete repairs independently

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret plumbing diagrams and technical documentation

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials and work in varying environments

• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional evening shifts

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay for this position is $30-$35. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, specialized expertise, and overall qualifications.
