SR. PRINCIPAL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER

Minimum Qualifications:

A BS degree in Engineering or related degree

10+ years of mechanical systems design experience including experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), process flow calculations, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience with hydro-mechanical systems applications, design, and operations, as well as the following skills:

• Expertise in theory and design of turbomachinery subsystems (lube oil system, fuel system, start system, and/or seal systems)
• Master's degree in engineering or related degree
• A good understanding of manufacturing and testing processes
• Experience with P&ID Creation tools similar to Promis-E (V8i) software platform
• Experience with Creo and Matlab or other Simulation/Modeling tools
• A sense of urgency and organizational skills are required to work with multiple projects and competing priorities.
