Directs technical physical security implementation projects for a portfolio (one-third) of the over 460 Senate state offices, including design, contractor quote evaluation and approval, and construction of security infrastructure, and the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of security systems. Oversees emergency and continuity planning and emergency preparedness of each office staff. Acts as the primary program interface with each Senator’s leadership team to ensure the Senate’s security services are applied consistently. Routinely briefs all levels of the organization regarding vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and security assessment in the legislative branch environment. Works closely with the State Office Readiness Program (SORP) PMs to provide information on principles and current planning methods for continuity of business and recovery operations and emergency management. Collects, analyzes, and delivers program status reports to ensure adherence to SAA security program methodologies in state offices. Travels quarterly to provide security and emergency preparedness training to staff and review office security systems and implementation. Other duties as assigned.
