Sr. Project Architect - Project Manager
About our company Premier: Premier Project Management provides design, procurement, engineering development and project management services to hotels. This includes implementing the majority of capital improvements for properties owned by Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE: AHT) and other hotel and mulit-family ownership groups. As an Interior Designer, you will work on the interior renovation of projects with varying levels of complexity from design through construction and installation. You will work with and receive mentorship from senior members in the department.
About this position: Premier is seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect / Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale renovation, adaptive reuse, and ground-up architectural projects from initial planning through construction. This position will serve as the day-to-day project leader, managing multidisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience with renovation and adaptive reuse projects - particularly office-to-hotel and office-to-residential conversions - and an understanding of historic rehabilitation and historic tax credit requirements; this experience is a plus but is not required. This individual must be an effective project manager, technical architect, team leader, and client communicator who can navigate complex existing-building conditions while maintaining project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and design intent.
The preferred location for this position is Dallas; however, qualified remote candidates will also be considered. Dallas employees follow a hybrid schedule, working in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work permitted on Monday and Friday. Fully remote employees must be able to collaborate effectively across project teams and travel as needed for client meetings, site assessments, project coordination, and construction observations.
