Sr. Project Engineer - Plumbing
The Senior Project Engineer – Plumbing is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of plumbing systems in construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and timelines. The role involves coordination with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution from design through to installation and handover.
- Responsibilities
- Review and interpret plumbing design drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants and design teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
- Oversee site installation of plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, stormwater, etc.).
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and local codes.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely execution of plumbing activities.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Liaise with procurement and suppliers for timely delivery of plumbing materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site supervisors.
- Attend project meetings and report updates to management.
