Torcon Sr. Project Engineer
Torcon is seeking Project Engineers with 5 to 8 years of experience in the construction industry. The Project Engineer will be responsible for evaluation of submittals and RFI’s to support construction activities and resolution of design/field issues. The Project Engineer must interact with field supervisors, owner representatives, and design professionals. Healthcare & pharmaceutical experience is highly recommended, as well as the ability to handle multiple project responsibilities and mentor less experienced engineers.
Qualified candidate will be able to reliably commute to the project sites in New Jersey.

- Responsible for evaluation of submittals and RFI’s
- Reviewing and processing change orders
- Support construction activities
- Resolution of design/field issues
- Knowledge of major software packages ( Microsoft, BIM 360)
- Experience in project control
- Experience in shop drawing/submittal administration
- Ability to coordinate resolution of field issues with design professionals
