Sr. Project Manager

Optomi in partnership with a Chicago based technology firm is seeking a Project Manager to support a variety of both Infrastructure and Application Development projects.

• Experience in Project Management and execution of multiple related development projects simultaneously with working knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management Lifecycles

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the full project management lifecycle for the implementation of enterprise projects
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Work effectively with internal and external clients, third party vendors and Senior Management in accomplishing project objectives
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify and communicate resource needs and/or constraints
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans
• Conduct post mortems and maintain lessons-learned inputs on project successes and improvements for utilization on future projects

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• Development Lifecycle and Project Management Lifecycles
• The individual must be a self-starter with good self-management skills and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
