Sr. Reliability Engineer - Project Fremont

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for product reliability qualification and aging test to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
• Analyze reliability data, investigate failures, and implement corrective actions to improve product performance
• Support product development by participating in design reviews, process development or changes, etc
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance product reliability, manufacturing robustness, and customer satisfaction
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through reliability best practices and technical leadership

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Material Science or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  

Skills

• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, statistical analysis, and failure analysis techniques
• Proficient in industry reliability standards such as Telcordia GR-468, JEDEC, and MIL-STD
• Skilled in root cause analysis, reliability testing, and data analysis tools (e.g. JMP, Excel)
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Effective communication and project management abilities in a manufacturing or product development environment.

• Work effectively with local and global members of the project

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite. Working conditions are consistent with a cleanroom and office environment.
