About This Role
Kidde Residential Fire Data & Analytics team is looking for a Sr. Reporting & Analytics Analyst with a passion for data and strong analytics capabilities to help grow our business. This role is responsible for understanding business challenges, gathering and translating requirements, defining KPIs and data definitions, and driving the delivery of analytics products that enable data-driven decision-making. This person will champion our mission to be data-driven by combining strong business acumen, analytical thinking, data literacy, and stakeholder management skills with a natural sense of curiosity to identify trends and uncover opportunities. The role partners closely with business leaders, data & analytics engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable reporting, analytics, and data solutions that meet business needs and create measurable value. Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data and analytics can improve decision-making and business performance.
Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and translate business objectives into functional, reporting, and analytics solutions.
Document and maintain business processes, business rules, acceptance criteria, data definitions, and metadata to support governance and solution delivery.
Facilitate alignment on KPIs, metric definitions, reporting standards, and business glossary requirements to ensure consistency across the organization.
Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, root causes, and actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver scalable data and analytics products.
Validate data quality, accuracy, consistency, completeness, and lineage across datasets, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions, driving issue resolution when needed.
Serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams by managing priorities, facilitating stakeholder alignment, communicating project status and risks, supporting user acceptance testing, driving adoption, and handling ad hoc analytics initiatives.
Ability to prioritize work and key projects based on the needs of the team and the business

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting data & analytics or BI initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for reporting and analytics and translating business needs into technical requirements
Proficient in SQL queries and working with relational databases.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Self-starter with an ability to drive projects from initiation to completion.
Adept at prioritizing work and key projects based on the needs of the team and the business.
Experience working with Snowflake, ERP systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.), CRM platforms, and enterprise data warehouses.
Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
Experience supporting Agile delivery teams.
Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial analytics.
