This is a strategic and hands-on opportunity to support the design, administration, and execution of global sales incentive programs.
You will play a key role in ensuring commissions, variable compensation, and incentive payments are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
The position combines sales compensation operations, financial modeling, analytics, system administration, and cross-functional partnership.
You will work closely with leadership and teams across Revenue, Finance, HR, Payroll, and other functions to solve complex compensation challenges.
Your expertise will help improve incentive processes, strengthen operational controls, and provide employees with greater transparency around their compensation.
The role offers significant autonomy, requiring strong analytical judgment and the ability to operate independently while partnering closely with senior compensation leadership.

Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end processing, calculation, validation, and execution of monthly and quarterly variable compensation payouts, commissions, and SPIFFs in accordance with established policies.
- Manage day-to-day administration and configuration of the Sales Performance Management platform, ensuring accurate data flows and synchronization across relevant systems.
- Prepare, issue, and track sales compensation plan agreements, payout statements, earnings summaries, and related documentation.
- Perform regular audits of payout calculations, transaction crediting, and exception requests, maintaining strong internal controls and escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Support incentive plan design by developing financial models that evaluate earning mechanics, payout scenarios, performance outcomes, and budget implications.
- Analyze historical payout and performance data from multiple sources to assess plan effectiveness, identify anomalies, and resolve complex crediting or compensation issues.
- Serve as a key operational resource for stakeholders across Revenue, Finance, HR, Payroll, and related functions, ensuring incentive processes integrate effectively with adjacent operations.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee questions regarding compensation plans, payout calculations, crediting, and policy interpretation, providing clear and timely support.
- Communicate sensitive or complex compensation information clearly to employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders while building alignment and consensus.
- Support the implementation of administration initiatives, system enhancements, annual incentive plan rollouts, and other operational projects with a focus on accuracy and risk management.
- Assist with employee enablement sessions to explain incentive plans, compensation rules, payout statements, and calculation methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve incentive operations and leverage emerging AI tools and automation to strengthen data insights, efficiency, and process quality.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Sales Compensation Administration, Incentive Operations, or a closely related function, with strong exposure to Finance, HR, or Payroll.
- Practical expertise in administering, calculating, validating, and troubleshooting sales incentive plans and transaction-crediting logic.
- Hands-on experience with modern Sales Performance Management platforms and CRM systems; experience with CaptivateIQ and Salesforce is preferred.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build financial models, analyze large or complex datasets, and evaluate payout scenarios.
- Strong understanding of business drivers, SaaS/B2B revenue models, sales organizations, and incentive structures.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex operational and administrative issues using analytical judgment and structured problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or sensitive financial and compensation information clearly to employees and cross-functional partners.
- Strong relationship-building and consensus-building skills, with the ability to act as a trusted subject matter resource across multiple functions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight while maintaining a close and collaborative partnership with senior compensation leadership.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy in high-impact financial processes.
- Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a willingness to incorporate AI tools into daily workflows to improve analysis and operational efficiency.
- Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) designation is preferred.
- Salary: $82,400–$103,000 annual gross base salary.
