Sr Security Engineer
Role Overview
The Sr. Security Engineer is responsible for testing physical, logical, and electronic protection of data, including cloud, corporate, web application, access control, intrusion detection/prevention, virus protection, and more, as well as Digital Forensics, Software Development, Vulnerability Research, Reverse Engineering, Software/Hardware Engineering, and Operational Consultancy.
What You Will Do
Resolve incidents and problem tickets, identify opportunities for process improvement, operate security operations technology, devise and implement approaches to monitor applications and data flows, use monitoring data to analyze risk, and proactively recommend new tools and procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of IT engineering experience, 5+ years of cybersecurity incident response participation, and knowledge of operating systems internals and endpoint security experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years of IT engineering experience
- 5+ years of cybersecurity incident response participation
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Knowledge of operating systems internals and endpoint security experience
- Ability to obtain at least a Top Secret clearance
