Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Senior Developer with a minimum of 5 years' experience who will work with Development team in programming. In addition to hands on coding, other responsibilities include creating technical design, code review and research on new technical components. To be successful as a Senior Developer, you should demonstrate great skill in hard-core programming, creativity and innovation. Ultimately, a top-notch Senior Developer should have extensive experience in software development, be able to keep up to date with deadlines, and have strong analytical skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework, Web Services, jQuery, Bootstrap, Knockout, and SQL Server.

• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Design and document technical solutions based on project requirements.

• Apply object-oriented concepts, design patterns, and coding best practices.

• Develop and support REST APIs and microservices-based applications.

• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes or similar platforms.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.

• Optimize application performance, SQL queries, stored procedures, and backend processes.

• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, BA, QA teams, architects, and offshore/onshore stakeholders.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Provide task estimates and ensure timely delivery of assigned work.

• Communicate effectively with US-based team members/ customers and be available for a few overlapping working hours with US time zones.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and MVC.

• Good experience with MS SQL Server and relational database concepts.

• Experience developing and consuming Web Services and APIs.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

• Working knowledge of:

• HTML

• CSS

• JavaScript

• jQuery

• AJAX

• JSON

• Bootstrap

• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, database design basics, queries, and stored procedures.

• Microservices architecture

• Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, OpenShift, or similar tools

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

• Java Spring Boot

• Node.js

• MongoDB

• Ability to understand existing codebases and enhancements or fixes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience or basic understanding of Node.js.

• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to Elasticsearch or open search.

• Experience with Azure or cloud-based application development.

• Experience with Telerik controls.

• Experience with modern application architecture, REST APIs, microservices, and containerization.

• Exposure or experience in API gateway, distributed logging, monitoring, and configuration management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework, and related technologies.

• 5+ years of experience building multi-user .NET applications.

• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server.

• Hands-on experience in microservices and containerization is required.

• Hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or MongoDB is required.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.

• Willingness to work with a few hours of overlap with US customers across US time zones.
