Senior SDET who builds and maintains UI and API automation frameworks for mobile and web apps at an on-demand delivery company (snacks, groceries, household goods, beer). Day to day: set quality standards, design test strategies, and create/run automated suites in CI/CD using Python, JavaScript, Go, or C#. Fully remote option available.

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - In Test, responsible for building and maintaining an automation suite across all our applications in order to provide a world class customer experience. The successful candidate will have a combination of strong functional test knowledge and methodology with hands on scripts automation experience using latest technologies. Ability to multitask, be fluent with agile methodology, ability to work collaboratively on features /releases, and experience in leading projects in a fast pace environment . The right individual will become an integral part of the development process and an enabler; not a hurdle or barrier in teams.
What will you do
Promote and support our Engineering’s culture of inclusion and diversity.
Support ongoing feature development from testing perspective; designing, implementing and maintaining quality standards, process, and methodologies; executing existing automation suites, and participating in creation of automation scripts.
Work closely with leads to establish quality standards across the groups, including test management, regression suite creation, bugs standards, test strategy designs, and others.
Build and maintain UI and API/Services automation frameworks for mobile and web applications and automate documented test cases using modern technologies.
Research and review other automation testing frameworks that can be leveraged by the team to enhance and scale test coverage to gain efficiency.
Act as a key member and regularly participate and interact as part of a cross-functional product development team of all backgrounds and disciplines.
Work closely with members of the engineering teams to ensure they are meeting team standards and delivering quality features.
Performs other duties as required.
What You Will Need to Have
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in creating test strategies and practices.
Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodology.
Deep experience in designing and implementing modern automation frameworks in Web and mobile through modern automation tools.
Production Experience with Python, Javascript, Go, C# or similar.
Self-direction with an ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Excellent analysis and decision-making skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complicated data sets.
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
