Sr Software Engineer

Software Engineer to develop and maintain .Net and SaaS applications for the Legal and Risk organizations, including support of business process configuration and integrations, providing technical expertise on business rules, scripts, security access, troubleshooting system issues, data analysis, and coordination with other teams. Business systems analytical skills and strong communication skills are also crucial to this position. This role will be expected to adapt and adopt

automation, AI, and digital tools to enhance existing systems and processes for the Legal and Risk business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end user technical support including day-to-day issues regarding usage, functionality, application maintenance and permission management
• Analyze and troubleshoot incidents reported on multiple applications; communicate the status of incidents with stakeholders; gather requirements, analyze, solve, and test for a resolution; document resolutions and update incidents
• Analyze and communicate implementations, technical impacts of proposed or existing integration designs
• Analyze and communicate technical impacts of proposed application implementations
• Conduct formal meetings with key stakeholders, to gather, analyze, and translate functional business requirements and workflows into technical requirements
• Analyze the feasibility and document the technical and end-user specifications
• Mentor/train scrum team members and end-users
• Create and maintain relevant data structures, plans, and workflows
• Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and evaluate gaps
• Create supporting integration documentation detailing system integration specifications, system processes and field mapping as needed
• Develop documentation and training materials to support system or process changes
• Participation in on-call rotation for production applications, including evenings and weekends
• Work schedule M-F 8am-5pm ET

Experience and Skills:

• 8+ Years’ experience as a software engineer

  • SQL Server db
  • Power BI
• Follows SDLC (systems development life cycle)
• Experience with legal and risk applications and business processes a plus
• Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Oracle, AI, Octopus Deploy, Atomic scheduler, HP Fortify a plus
• Knowledgeable in agile scrum methodology and experience working in scrum teams with ceremonies
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
