Sr. Software Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field with 8+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in testing Web Applications
• Rest API testing with Postman or equivalent

Strong experience in Web UI automation with selenium or playwright with python

Experience in Web API automation with python and requests library or robot framework

Strong understanding in SDLC, STLC and BLC

• Experience in manual test case design, execution, and validation for web and cloud application workflows
• Experience with test case management software tools
• Excellent technical documentation skills for formal V&V / regulatory submissions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Any foundational / associate level certification in AWS cloud

Nonfunctional testing like web app/API load or performance testing or web app security

Good to have certifications like ISTQB Foundational level (CTFL)

• Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins CI, and the ability to build/maintain a test pipeline
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies
• knowledge of utilizing AI based coding agents with GitHub copilot or equivalent would be preferred

Roles and Responsibilities
Under general supervision, develops, codes, test, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software customers. Requires good understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers. May assist in development of software user manuals. Demonstrates software.
