Play your part in our team succeeding
The LEGO League plays an important role for LEGO Education. The program significantly enhances students’ learning experiences by fostering motivation and inspiration in STEM. It empowers students to discover their potential and capabilities, often revealing to them that they can achieve more than they initially believed.
You will work within LEGO Education Engineering, consisting of a talented team of software, firmware, platform and quality engineers.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Your background can be diverse, but it would be an advantage if you have a background (knowledge or exposure) to FIRST LEGO League or worked with Event Planning features previously. The ideal candidate also brings solid experience in designing, implementing, and integrating APIs using both REST and GraphQL. You have strong proficiency in TypeScript and frameworks such as React and you have experience within Test Driven Development. Finally, we also expect that you will be used to leveraging AI tools and a clear understanding of how to integrate AI capabilities into products.
As a person, you show a strong team-first mentality that fosters a collaborative culture combined with a mindset that challenges the status quo and drives continuous improvement. You have a hands-on, proactive, and pragmatic approach to delivering features and improvements as well as an empathetic approach to working within a diverse, global community.
It will be an advantage if you have:
Experience contributing to or managing open-source projects, including writing to a public-codebase standard and reviewing external contributions.
Awareness of privacy-by-design and data minimization principles, particularly when handling data about young participants across multiple regions.
Experience with connected hardware products
