Sr. Software Engineer (.NET)

Compensation: $80k – $120k

We are looking for a .NET Developer with 5–10 years of professional software development experience to join our team and help develop, maintain, and modernize our SaaS event ticketing platform serving museums, colleges, universities, and other organizations.

We are a small, collaborative team that actively embraces AI-assisted software development. We are looking for a developer who is comfortable using modern AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering judgment, code quality, security, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET Core

• Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations

• Develop and optimize data solutions using MS SQL Server and noSQL systems

• Develop and support applications hosted in Microsoft Azure

• Develop and maintain front-end functionality using JavaScript and jQuery

• Use AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and problem solving

• Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability

• Help maintain and modernize existing .NET Framework and Classic ASP applications

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience

• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET Core

• Strong experience with JavaScript and jQuery

• Experience developing REST APIs

• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework / EF Core

• Experience with Microsoft Azure

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of your regular software development workflow

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

• Ability to understand, review, and validate AI-generated solutions

• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative SaaS environment

Nice to Have

• .NET Framework or Classic ASP experience

• CI/CD and DevOps experience

• Automated testing and SOLID principles

• Previous SaaS product experience
