Sr. Software Engineer

Description

We are seeking immediate employment of a Senior (or higher) software engineer to drive the expansion to the existing DevOps tools and process to new teams inside of Skyworks.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with multiple firmware and software teams
• Communicate ideas and proposals clearly
• Propose solutions based on team requirements and industry best-practices
• Implement continuous integration frameworks
• Mentor junior engineers

Required Experience and Skills

• BSEE/BSCE required
• 8+ years of industry experience in software, firmware, and or DevOps
• Proven track record of designing, deploying, maintaining, and evangelizing software DevOps tools and methodologies
• Must have a good understanding of the Agile approach to software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills

Desired Experience and Skills

• Creating and maintaining virtual machines/containers using Docker or other tools
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex architectures
• Experience with GitHub,
• Experience with Azure DevOps\MlOps
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with build tools, such as Make, CMake, and others
• Proficient in Python with knowledge of other scripting languages
