Sr. Solution Consultant –
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing implementation activities for HRSD solutions including Document Manager and People Assist.
- Facilitate kickoff, discovery, requirements, configuration, testing, and go-live readiness sessions.
- Guide customers through standard and premium launch methodologies, including accelerated out-of-the-box implementations and more complex enterprise implementations.
- Translate customer business needs into practical configuration recommendations using predefined templates, roles, workflows, and best practices.
- Support role mapping, SSO coordination, integration readiness, tenant setup, and UKG Pro integration alignment.
- Help customers understand product capabilities, prerequisite training, and implementation expectations.
- Manage scope boundaries clearly, including identifying out-of-scope items such as advanced customization, mass document ingestion, mass signature generation, or post-go-live service requests.
- Partner with internal technical, integration, support, and escalation teams to resolve implementation issues.
- Support document migration activities, including category mapping, sync enablement, migration readiness, and issue troubleshooting.
- Conduct workshops focused on practical use cases, customer enablement, and self-service adoption.
- Support UAT, go-live planning, post-launch transition, and customer feedback collection.
- Maintain clear communication, project documentation, status updates, risks, actions, and next steps.
- Work effectively with customers of varying complexity, including enterprise and global rollout scenarios.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, SaaS implementation, HR technology implementation, professional services, or customer-facing delivery.
- Strong experience leading client meetings, discovery sessions, workshops, or implementation calls.
- Ability to manage multiple customer implementations with defined timelines and deliverables.
- Strong consultative skills, including active listening, requirements clarification, expectation management, and solution recommendation.
- Experience working with implementation methodologies such as kickoff, analysis, configuration, testing/UAT, and go-live.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system configuration or implementation steps.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage HR, IT, payroll, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with project plans, playbooks, templates, best-practice guides, and internal knowledge resources.
- Ability to identify risks, blockers, and scope gaps early and escalate appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR Service Delivery, case management, employee document management, knowledge management, or employee self-service solutions.
- Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms such as UKG Pro, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow HRSD, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with SSO, integrations, tenant setup, role-based permissions, workflow configuration, or document migration.
- Experience supporting enterprise, multi-country, or phased rollouts.
- Understanding of data privacy or compliance considerations such as GDPR.
- Experience in professional services, implementation consulting, customer success, or business process consulting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This person should be a confident consultant who can bring structure to ambiguity, guide customers through a defined implementation process, and maintain healthy scope boundaries. They do not need to be a product expert on day one, but they should be able to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and help customers adopt best practices instead of over-customizing too early.
Success Measures
- Customers are prepared, trained, and clear on implementation expectations.
- Launches are delivered within agreed timelines and scope.
- Customer requirements are captured accurately and translated into practical configuration.
- Risks, dependencies, and out-of-scope requests are identified early.
- Customers feel guided, enabled, and ready for go-live.
- Internal handoffs to support or post-implementation teams are clean and well documented.
