Sr. Solutions Architect - Technical/Platform

• Bachelor’s, Master’s in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field. A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in software engineering, solution architecture, platform engineering, systems integration, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience owning solution or platform architecture across multiple applications, teams, systems, or stakeholder communities.
• 5 + Years of Technology Leadership Experience (direct reporting or dotted line)
• Demonstrated experience designing and supporting production web applications and enterprise platforms.
• Strong technical background with modern application stacks such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Java, React, Vue.js, or comparable technologies.
• Strong understanding of API architecture, REST services, microservices, event-driven systems, messaging, queues, relational databases, caching, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing integrations with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, identity, document management, data, workflow, or financial systems.
• Experience with event and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable platforms preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerized workloads, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, monitoring, and platform automation preferred.
• Experience defining non-functional requirements for security, scalability, availability, performance, resilience, recoverability, maintainability, and supportability.
• Demonstrated experience creating architecture diagrams, interface specifications, dependency maps, data-flow documentation, architecture decision records, technical standards, and operational runbooks.
• Experience translating complex business and technical requirements into solution designs, implementation guidance, and delivery plans.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling, workflow design, approvals, role and permission models, and how technology can improve operational processes.
• Experience with technical debt planning, application lifecycle management, modernization, decommissioning, and retirement decisions.
• Experience supporting production incidents, root-cause analysis, technical risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture reviews and influence decisions across engineering, product, data, security, infrastructure, business, and support teams. Ability to evaluate trade-offs and make pragmatic decisions that balance delivery speed, quality, risk, cost, and long-term maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trust with team members, leaders, business partners, vendors, and service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment with ambiguity, evolving requirements, multiple priorities, and rapid delivery expectations.
• Experience using AI-assisted development, architecture, documentation, or testing tools to improve speed and quality while applying appropriate judgment and controls.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $124,800 to $187,200 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.
