Meet the team:

The Business Project Management Office (PMO) team is comprised of diverse, collaborative and results-driven program and project managers. A key part of the Global Business Services function of Dexcom, the team delivers value to customers and internal stakeholders through the delivery of programs and projects that support the execution of strategy at a global, regional or functional level.

Where you come in:

  • You will independently lead large, complex, cross-functional business and commercial programs from strategy development through execution and value realization.
  • You will partner with senior leaders across functions, regions, and levels of the organization to define program scope, align priorities, and drive business outcomes.
  • You will challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and influence decision-making to ensure successful program delivery and strategic alignment.
  • You will drive clarity and execution in ambiguous environments, proactively managing risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
  • You will establish governance frameworks, operating rhythms, and program controls that enable visibility, accountability, and effective decision-making.
  • You will lead diverse global teams and stakeholders without direct authority, fostering collaboration and alignment across business functions, geographies, and cultures.
  • You will translate strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes, ensuring delivery against business goals and priorities.
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to Director and VP-level stakeholders, providing insights, recommendations, and executive-ready communications.

What makes you successful:

  • You have a university degree in a relevant field (Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale programs and projects within multinational or global organizations.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in program/project management (PMP/Prince2) are preferred.
  • Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or large matrixed corporate environments are preferred.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of program/project management methodologies. Knowledge in related frameworks/processes are preferred (e.g. product development, product commercialization, software development life cycle, quality assurance processes, transition/outsourcing).
  • You exhibit strong interpersonal, team building, and communication skills, showcasing executive presence with demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Your skills in concept development, presentation and facilitation contribute to successful program and project outcomes.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an agile mindset.
  • You have a logical and efficient approach, coupled with keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in your work.
  • You can successfully balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks under pressure that reflect sound decision-making skills.
  • You can build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
  • You have a customer service-oriented approach and committed to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
  • You are comfortable in using project management tools and software (e.g. Asana).
  • Experience leading partnership, alliance, or external-facing initiatives.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring project and program managers.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.
