We are looking for a Senior Structural Project Manager in the Tewksbury, MA area.

The Impact You'll Make
- Project management experience with bridge-focused projects for New England State Agencies, local governments, and other clients
- Vermont Transportation Agency and New Hampshire Department of Transportation experience a plus
- Collaborate with a team of structural engineers in the preparation of design and contract documents for transportation structures projects
- Lead project teams comprised of talented professionals in various disciplines, sub-consultants, and reviewers to ensure efficient and productive utilization of staff and provide high-quality service for our clients.
- Responsible for client development and fostering relationships with existing and new clients.
- May perform site and structure inspections and other responsibilities associated with this position as required.
- Responsible for project progression, accurate client billing, and project profitability.
- Responsible for the management of project budgets, goal setting, determining the scope of work, estimating fees, and preparing proposals and contracts on projects
- Manage and maintain project and QA/QC documentation
- Direct, review, and/or perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to engineering support staff and aspiring professionals.
- Partner with other Lochner offices throughout the firm to deliver projects across the country on time and within budget.
The Expertise You'll Bring
- Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in any New England state is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of DOT bridge design experience with project management experience.
- Experience analyzing project progress in conformance with project budgets, quality, scope, client reporting, and sub-consultant coordination.
- Experience in business development, client management, and marketing to transportation clients.
- Ability to work with our talented marketing team to lead project pursuits, including the development of project proposals (written, presentations, interviews, etc.).
- Self-motivated and effective problem solver
- Advanced level of technical writing and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
