Sr. Technical Engineer

Leverage Technical engineer knowledge across chemical manufacturing, chemical vendors, and dosing applications; conduct product and application training for internal teams and external customers. Including on-site commissioning and maintenance guidance. Act as technical lead for strategic and high-value opportunities, prioritising projects where technical engagement can significantly influence commercial outcomes. Conduct on-site surveys to uncover opportunities, support Watson Marlow product trials to enhance our success and collect data. Discuss with customer on application assessments; provide technical support to end user, EPCs, system integrators, and OEM customers. Identify customer pain points, translate findings into value propositions, and assist in resolving quality complaints and field technical issues. Develop TCO (total cost of ownership) proposals covering operational risk reduction and lifecycle cost benefits to support customer decision-making and help the sales team win. Execute benchmarking, competitor comparisons, and validation testing for strategic projects; produce reports to support project approval. Build application case studies and best-practice materials; drive technical knowledge sharing across APAC sales and technical teams. Contribute to APAC testing capability development and future regional sector expertise.
