Sr. Technical Solutions Architect

Job Description

• Responsible for analysing the technology environment, enterprise specifics standards, and documenting requirements; setting the collaboration framework, creating a solution prototype, participating in technology selection process, controlling solution development, and supporting project management.
• Solid experience required in IT architecture, infrastructure, and cloud development, engineering and software architecture design, business analysis, and DevOps.
• Strong project management, product management, and communication skills required.
  
  

  Project Role:

  • The Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems Specialist performs a lead technical role in application support for Client's AMI systems such as the Meter Data Management System (MDMS), and Head End System (HES).
  • Work closely with the key Vendors and Business partners on release notes explaining features, improvements, issues resolved, scheduled upgrades and enhancements.
  • Work in AMI Run team to see any tools or reports needed to support monitoring or troubleshooting the production systems.
    
    

    Portfolio Scope:

    • Responsible for day-to-day operation on MDMS and applications integrated with it. Includes on call support on rotating basis.
    • Should be able to analyse MDMS issues, trace data flow, log analysis, build automation for alerts and monitoring.
    • Need to have prevent and predict mindset

    Deliverables:

    • Work on production issues in agile framework.
    • Quick turnaround time.
    • Able to own the resolution, collaborate with vendors and other ecosystem partners.
    • Contribute to production release via planning and active participation.
    • Strong performance in trending process data and develop insights.

    Business Relationships and Management:

    • Provides updates on support issues plan, reports critical issues.
    • Troubleshoots and resolves client issues.
    • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve all project goals.
    • Engages vendors/sponsors at the right level of detail for example in weekly status meetings.
    • Proactively engages others outside the project teams to bring in expertise to work to solve technical issues.
