We are looking for candidates to support our largest customer AI deployments. In this role, you will run large-scale GenAI Infrastructure deployments in customer data centers.

The Professional Services Organization Technical Program Management Office (PMO) helps organization's optimize data center design and accelerate time-to-value in their AL transformation, ensuring seamless integration with ROI-driven deployments.

What you'll achieve:

  • Lead the delivery of cutting-edge, large-scale GenAI infrastructure programs directly enabling customers' AI strategies.
  • Work with the Project Management Office, Account team, customer resources, delivery partner resources, and executive stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans.
  • Hold overall delivery ownership and accountability across all teams, resources, and partners involved in delivering complex Gen AI infrastructure deployments.
  • Provide strategic and advisory consultation to customers, drive business outcomes and shape the future of AI infrastructure at scale.

You will:

  • Pre-deal engagement - Engage before deal closure and order placement to be fully immersed with customer stakeholders, internal order status, and potential issues before the project kicks off.
  • End-to-end delivery ownership - Own delivery across rack-build and test, logistics, deployment, test, and handover.
  • Partner management - Manage Dell Technologies’ s delivery partners for all relevant aspects of the solution.
  • Executive stakeholder management - Lead executive-level stakeholder communications and relationship management, both internally and with the customer.
  • Program governance - Maintain strong program governance coupled with pragmatism and agility.
  • On-site presence - Maintain regular on-site presence in the datacenter.
  • Installation & acceptance oversight - Oversee performance of installation and client acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, or system integration projects and engagements.
  • Strategic consultation - Provide strategic and advisory consultation to the customer, driving the business outcome.
  • Quality assurance - Ensure quality service and operational performance across all project deliverables.
  • Cross-functional alignment - Focus the customer and cross-functional teams on working together to achieve the end-state solution, driving the business outcome and vision while advising the customer on risks and opportunities.
  • Cost & investment management - Effectively allocate and manage costs and investments for technology and resources across the program.
  • Dependency & risk management - Inform, manage, report, and practice mitigation, avoidance, and acceptance of dependency and impact management via a consistent program approach and communications.

Essential Requirements:

  • 12–15 years of experience managing large, complex technology projects involving program-level hardware infrastructure implementations in customer data centers.
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale hardware and infrastructure deployments/programs.
    *Candidates with software or migration backgrounds only will not be considered.
  • Demonstrated previous experience delivering large-scale, high-value IT infrastructure deployments
  • Ability to understand and articulate the key components of HPC and GenAI infrastructure deployments to
  • Hands-on experience in the data center, whether in current role or in an appropriately recent timeframe.

Program Management

  • Strong experience in program management including planning, senior management interfacing, influencing, and negotiating with customers and various project stakeholders.
  • Experience managing subcontracted parties such as cabling and liquid cooling suppliers and others.

Location & On-site Requirements

  • Most projects will be physically deployed and high amount of on-site time in data centers during planning phases

Language:

  • Japanese – Native/ Professional level in Speaking, Writing & Reading. (JLPT 1)
  • English – Upper Business level in Speaking, Writing & Reading

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience deploying, or managing deployment of, large-scale structured cablingin data centers.
  • Experience, or at least understanding, of direct liquid cooling solutions in data centers.
  • Previous experience or exposure to NVIDIA GPU products.
  • PMI certified experience applying Six Sigma methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of business/technology transformation programs
