Sr Test Automation Engineer (+ Manual Testing)

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the test activities to ensure product quality

  • Design, develop, and support test cases for functional and non-functional domains and resolve

issues that may impede the test effort

  • Drive the identification of the test scope and test environment set-up, prepare test plans, identify

relevant metrics and keep track of required effort.

  • Manage the execution of tests, review reports and interpret recommendations for product or

design changes

  • Contribute, review and implement internal quality control standards

  • Develop relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend and implement

testing procedures for products, systems, components or modifications

Skills and attributes for success

  • Broad understanding of testing lifecycle and agile frameworks

  • Knowledge of Quality Management techniques

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field and 7+ years of relevant

work experience

  • Proficiency in testing concepts/standards & Agile methodology

  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.

  • Good understanding on Automation Testing concepts. The candidate should be able to implement

automation strategy.

  • Hands-on experience authoring, building and adopting large-scale, automation frameworks with

well-balanced coverage across UI, functional, API and back-end integration (including end-to-end

automation) and experience with different test automation approaches

  • Experience in Selenium with Java / Python - Knowledge at scripting/coding level

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps or any relevant defect management tool and CI/CD.
