Description
The Filter Test Engineer (TE) is responsible for the sustaining of test solutions for BAW and SAW Filter products as they advance from development to production.
The TE reports to Test Engineering Manager and will work with design, NPI and Test Sustaining to support engineering test requirements during the new product introduction process with the vision to optimize production testing as well.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibilities of this position include supporting engineering test activities pertaining to engineering sample fulfilment of new filter product.
Development of optimization of existing manufacturing and reliability testing through automation.
Support to production ramp up
Required Experience and Skills
Strong background in Digital/RF Theory and Practice, programming and ATE architecture knowledge.
Programming background is a must, experience with C or C++ is required.
RF Equipment test and measurement knowledge.
Familiarity with a wireless communication systems architecture, RF PAs, transmitters & receivers, as well as experience with RF Filters and Switches and PA Controllers.
Statistical concepts and tools knowledge.
Required an excellent ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people.
BS degree in Electronic, Cybernetic, Mecatronic or Computing Engineering, with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
English language

Background in lab testing including design and implementation of experiments
Strong product engineering support skills for test debug in lab and in production line
Understanding of wafer fabrication process is considered an asset
