Description

Job Summary

The Senior Visualizer & 3D Designer is responsible for developing high-quality, photorealistic 3D visualizations that effectively communicate architectural, interior, landscape, and product design concepts. The role requires advanced technical expertise, independent execution of complex visualization tasks, close coordination with the design team, and a strong commitment to visual quality, design accuracy, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality 3D models, renderings, and Computer-Generated Images (CGIs) for interior, architectural, landscape, and product design projects.

  • Interpret and translate sketches, conceptual drawings, mood boards, reference images, and design briefs into accurate and visually compelling 3D representations.

  • Produce preliminary and developed CGIs in alignment with the design vision established by the Art Director and Chief Designer.

  • Apply advanced modeling, lighting, texturing, material mapping, composition, and rendering techniques to achieve photorealistic results.

  • Independently manage complex visualization assignments while maintaining consistency with the approved design direction.

  • Refine and update CGIs throughout the different design development stages, incorporating internal reviews and client feedback.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of design details by providing visual and technical input to the Art Director and design team.

  • Participate actively in concept development meetings with the Art Director, Chief Designer, Project Leader, and relevant design team members.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned projects, including design concepts, original drawings, site photographs, field surveys, and as-built drawings.

  • Coordinate closely with the Project Leader and Art Director to remain updated on design intent, project developments, and client requirements.

  • Collaborate with architectural, interior, and technical design teams to ensure accurate representation of design elements, materials, finishes, and spatial arrangements.

  • Communicate all visualization-related design modifications to the Technical Designer and relevant team members to ensure consistency across project documentation.

  • Participate in site visits and field surveys when required to verify existing conditions and gather relevant project information.

  • Identify and communicate design discrepancies, technical inconsistencies, or missing information that may affect visualization accuracy.

  • Ensure that all visualization deliverables meet the company's quality standards, design requirements, and presentation expectations.

  • Review 3D models, materials, lighting, proportions, and final renderings for accuracy, realism, and consistency before submission.

  • Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to 3D modeling, rendering, file optimization, and visualization workflows.

  • Maintain consistency in visualization quality and presentation style across assigned projects.

  • Apply efficient modeling and rendering techniques to optimize production time without compromising quality.

  • Stay updated on emerging visualization technologies, software developments, and industry best practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.

  • Take ownership of assigned visualization tasks from initial briefing through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion.

  • Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned tasks according to project schedules, deadlines, and changing requirements.

  • Monitor the progress of visualization deliverables and provide regular status updates to the Project Leader, Senior Designer, or Art Director, as applicable.

  • Proactively identify potential delays, technical challenges, and resource requirements, escalating issues when necessary.

  • Manage multiple visualization assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to project priorities.

  • Ensure that client feedback and approved design revisions are accurately incorporated into updated CGIs within agreed timelines.

  • Maintain and update the company's archiving system with the latest approved CGIs, 3D models, and visualization files.

  • Ensure proper organization, naming, version control, and accessibility of all visualization-related project files.

  • Develop, organize, and maintain reusable libraries of 3D furniture, materials, textures, and other visualization assets.

  • Coordinate with the Project Leader to ensure that all project-specific 3D assets and materials are properly documented and archived.

  • Maintain accurate records of visualization revisions and approved deliverables to support project continuity and future reference.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior visualizers and 3D designers when required.

  • Review visualization outputs produced by junior team members and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and technical accuracy.

  • Share technical knowledge, advanced visualization techniques, and best practices with team members.

  • Support the development of efficient visualization workflows and contribute to maintaining consistent team standards.

  • Assist in resolving complex visualization challenges encountered by other team members.

  • Maintain effective communication with the Art Director, Project Leader, and relevant team members regarding project progress, requirements, and deliverables.

  • Demonstrate accountability, initiative, and independent problem-solving in the execution of assigned responsibilities.

  • Maintain confidentiality of project information, client materials, and company design assets.

  • Comply with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and established project workflows.

  • Remain available during designated working hours and coordinate in advance for project-critical requirements in accordance with company policies.

  • Perform other job-related duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or specialized training in 3D visualization, rendering, or digital design are an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant professional experience in 3D visualization and design, preferably within an architecture or interior design consultancy.
  • Previous experience providing technical guidance or mentoring junior visualizers is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, rendering, lighting, texturing, and material creation.
