SRE Manager

Lead an experienced SRE team and raise reliability standards across blockchain infrastructure, focusing on engineering direction, SLOs, error budgets, blameless postmortems, automation, and engineer development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of experienced SRE engineers and raise the standard of reliability in blockchain infrastructure
• Set engineering direction and create the conditions for high quality work
• Define SLOs and error budgets and conduct blameless postmortems
• Automate repetitive tasks and drive improvements
• Mentor engineers and help them grow into larger responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience leading an SRE team or equivalent in a large-scale infrastructure environment
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure
• Proven ability to define and manage SLOs and error budgets
• Experience with automation and building scalable systems
• Track record of mentoring engineers and developing talent
• Comfort with blockchain infrastructure and unusual territory
