Summary
Define the tech strategy for Itaú’s Agro Retail Community, leading cloud-native platforms, AI adoption, and DevSecOps while guiding teams on LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
You will define the technology strategy for the Agro Retail Community and serve as a technical reference in architecture, platform engineering, technology modernization, and AI adoption. You will build scalable and resilient digital platforms, lead AI-First engineering practices, evaluate AI models and LLMs, establish standards for LLM-based solutions, promote cloud-native architecture and DevSecOps, and guide teams in applying AI to products, customer journeys, internal processes, and engineering capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the community’s short-, medium-, and long-term technology vision
- Partner with GPMs and GTMs to ensure technical feasibility and solution sustainability
- Lead architectural decisions for scalable, reusable, product-oriented platforms
- Ensure adoption of corporate standards
- Lead technology modernization, cloud migration, and legacy transformation initiatives
- Lead AI-First practices for digital products and corporate platforms
- Define strategies for using Generative AI throughout the product development life cycle
- Evaluate and select AI models and LLMs
- Define standards for integrating LLMs, RAG, AI agents, corporate copilots, and intelligent workflows
- Lead proofs of concept and decisions involving proprietary and open-source models
- Provide technical leadership for AI architectures
- Ensure governance, observability, security, and production monitoring of models
- Identify opportunities for AI to transform customer journeys, internal processes, and engineering capabilities
- Serve as a technical reference for engineers and architects
- Influence strategic decisions and promote technical development
- Lead software architecture, data, and corporate integration discussions
- Prepare technical opinions on technology risks and information security
- Promote engineering excellence, observability, software quality, and DevSecOps
- Define cloud-native architecture standards
- Lead initiatives involving AWS, microservices, containers, serverless, and distributed platforms
- Promote FinOps, automation, and efficient cloud resource management
- Contribute to data, analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities
